Thank your dog. Thanksgiving is thanks giving, which means giving thanks. So please thank your dog and your family. If there is no reason to thank your dog, consider thanking her/him for random reasons like her/his cuteness. Just don't thank her/him for bad things as it may encourage your dog to do the same bad behavior.

Do some kind acts outside when taking your dog. As I said thanksgiving is giving thanks, giving thanks is connected to kindness, so how about doing some kindness acts outside with your dog?? Your dog will also try to do it! Try acts like feeding needy people, thanking workers, etc.
